Wiggles & Giggles Learning Lab
10am-12pm. Griffin Recreation Center, New Albany, IN. The Learning Lab offers a range of playful learning opportunities for young children. Monthly sensory bins, engaging STEM activities, and creative crafts are just a few of the adventures awaiting your little ones! Free event. Ages 5 and under.
10:30-11:30am. The Cultural Arts Center. 201 E Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Stories, songs, and movement activities followed by an art project to take home. For preschool ages. Registration required.
4-4:45pm. New Albany Central Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.
Tails & Tales: Mia the Therapy Dog
4-5pm. Galena Branch. Come read to therapy dog, Mia! She loves to have stories read to her! Anyone can come read to her, each person who signs up will have a 10 minute time slot to read one on one for up to 6 readers each visit. Registration required.
6-6:45pm. The Cultural Arts Center Gallery. 201 E Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Step into a world of wonder as the museum transforms into a cozy storytelling haven at dusk. For children ages 3-8 and their families. Registration required.
7-9pm. The Earl. Recurring weekly on Monday. New Albany, IN. Free event.

9am-12pm. SIGS Gym New Albany. Offered weekdays M-F. Fun open play for friends under 54”. Two large bounce houses, a huge slide, trampolines, a foam pit, and lots of space to run, jump, and play! $8/child or $40 punch card for 6 visits or multiple kids.
9:30-11am. SIGS Gym New Albany. Offered Mondays & Wednesdays. Limited to first 20 child participants. Our TOT SPOT program is for children 3 and under for socialization, movement, and music. Students will meet in our Launch Pad UPSTAIRS and complete some obstacles, and there will be music, games, and storytime. One adult may enter with a child.

10-10:35am. New Albany Main Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Join us on Tuesday mornings for songs and stories! For ages 2 and under.
11am-12pm. New Albany Central Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. You’re invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all.
6-6:45pm. New Albany Main Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. The children’s librarians will lead our Pajama Storytime with fun “bedtime” stories, rhymes and songs. Make this special storytime a part of your family’s regular weekly bedtime routine.
7-9pm. Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. JEOPARDY! Bar League, the official bar trivia experience from America’s Favorite Quiz Show is at Dog Haus Biergarten every Tuesday! Free event.

11-11:45am. New Albany Central Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Pre-K Storytime helps children ages 3-5 get ready for kindergarten with stories, songs, and fun activities that build early literacy and social skills. Siblings are welcome! No registration required.
1-2pm. Cultural Arts Center. 201 E Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Join us for an afternoon of early literacy fun for babies! There will be stories, songs, and sensory activities for babies to interact with at the end of the program. Registration required.
4-5pm. New Albany Central Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Come hang out each Wednesday and enjoy a different activity each week. Activities will range from play-doh to crafts to LEGOs! For Kids ages 6-11 years old. No registration required.
7pm. Recbar New Albany. Recurring weekly on Wednesday.

6-7:30pm. New Albany Central Library. Hang out with us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Teen Scene! Take a break in the middle of the week with a new activity, game, craft, or anything else we dream up, plus snacks! All kids ages 11-18 welcome.
7-10pm. The Depot at Noco, Jeffersonville. Another free Thursday night concert at Jeffersonville’s coolest venue, featuring local and regional bands. Admission is free, all ages welcome. Bag chairs encouraged for the lawn. Full bar, food trucks, boutique shops and more!

6-8pm. American Legion Sellersburg. Every Thursday we have a line dance class. All ages welcome, $5 per person (Legion members are free). We start with Ultra Beginner dances and work our way up. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare to have fun while getting your steps in.

Shoreline Independence Day Celebration
Doors open 6pm, fireworks at dark. New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater. 100 E. Water St., New Albany, IN 47150. The City of New Albany’s annual Independence Day celebration returns with live music, inflatables for the kids, local food and drink vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display over the Ohio River. Free to attend, proudly sponsored by the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County.

Jeffersonville Celebrates Freedom Parade
10am. 100-500 blocks of Spring Street, Historic Downtown Jeffersonville, IN. Jeffersonville High School student athletes and athletic teams serve as Grand Marshals for this year’s parade. Celebration continues afterward in Warder Park with face painting, balloon-making, hot dogs, and the National Anthem. Free and open to the public.
Sellersburg 4th of July Celebration
11am-9pm. Sellersburg American Legion Post 204. 412 N. New Albany St., Sellersburg, IN 47172. One of the biggest Independence Day celebrations in Clark County, featuring food served all day, live music, a cake wheel, Yello Sno Shaved Ice (5-9pm), and a fireworks show at dark. Free and open to the public.
City of New Albany Independence Day Fireworks
Fireworks begin approximately 10pm. Best viewed from Rose Run Park and the New Albany riverfront. A second night of fireworks following Friday’s Shoreline Independence Day Celebration, marking America’s 250th birthday. Free to view.
Waterfront Park Fourth of July
Activities begin 5pm, fireworks at 10pm. Waterfront Park, Big Four Lawn. 129 E. River Rd., Louisville, KY 40202. Louisville’s largest Independence Day celebration, honoring America’s 250th birthday with a full lineup of live music curated by Kentucky Performing Arts, the Kosair for Kids Children’s Area, food trucks, Brown-Forman bars, and the expanded America 250 Fireworks Show over the Ohio River. Free and open to the public.
Crescent Hill 4th of July Festival
10am-10pm. Peterson Dumesnil House. 301 South Peterson Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206. One of Louisville’s most beloved Independence Day traditions, featuring an art fair, food trucks, craft beer, live music from Gary Falk and the Falklanders, the Allen Lane Band, and Stonewheel, a cake wheel, raffle, silent auction, pet contest, cake baking contest, a magician, and a children’s inflatable Fun Zone. Concludes with the National Anthem and fireworks at 10pm. Free and family-friendly.
Locust Grove Dawn’s Early Light
Gathering and sacred fire at 5am, breakfast 8-10am. Historic Locust Grove, Louisville, KY. Start the 4th of July “where Louisville begins” with silent reflection around a sacred fire tended by local Indigenous Elders, a multicultural sunrise ceremony with dance and music, and a free communal breakfast. Free and open to the public.
Metro Hall Patriotic Performances
11am-12:30pm. Front steps of Metro Hall, Louisville, KY. A series of patriotic performances including a reenactment of Paul Revere’s ride, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, musical performances with the St. Stephen Choir, a flyover, a Sons of the American Revolution color guard, and a salute from Zambelli Fireworks. Free and open to the public.

Louisville City FC vs. Hartford Athletic — July 4 Celebration
8pm. Lynn Family Stadium. 350 Adams St., Louisville, KY 40206. Celebrate Independence Day with a primetime holiday weekend match and a postgame fireworks show. The first 3,000 fans receive a Stars & Stripes straw hat giveaway courtesy of Ford. Tickets at loucity.com.
