Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!
Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.
Louisville Wing Week is seven days of paying homage to the wing. Each participating Louisville Wing Week restaurant will fry up their own take on the wing — from signature sauces to secret menu specialties and more. Let the Wing Week App take you on a Louisville exploration; map out your week, try new restaurants, challenge your taste buds, and share your experiences on social with other Louisville wing lovers.

Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required.
It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all.
Pajama Time Stories: 6pm-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. Registration not required.

Mother Goose Time: 10:30-11:15am. A fast-paced and interactive program for children ages 0-2 and their caregivers. Adult participation and interaction ensure the success of this program. Siblings may bring a doll or stuffed animal to bounce. Arrive early to get a spot.

3-10pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Every Tuesday ½ priced bottles of wine in house. Bring a friend (or two!) and come enjoy the Wine Shop.
4-10pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Every Tuesday, for every adult meal purchased, one child under the age of 12 can order a meal from the kid’s menu for free.
5-7pm. 305 North Ferguson, Henryville, IN. Henryville Farmers Market opens May 6th and runs until October 23rd. The Market will be open every Tuesday and Thursday. Help support your local farmers and Small Businesses. We will also have Food Trucks at some of the Markets. We will let everyone know the week before what Food Truck will be there.
6pm. Derby Dinner Playhouse. Aug 13, 2025 - Sep 28, 2025. This exciting new Broadway Musical chronicles the real-life experiences of the people of Gander, Newfoundland, and the almost 7,000 airline passengers who were forced to land there when US air space was closed on September 11, 2001. Twelve actors tell the story of both the Islanders and the Plane People, revealing the fear and uncertainty that came with the terrorist attacks – as well as the profound generosity and compassion of strangers. Tickets required.

Stories at Silver Street Park: 10-11am. Join us for stories, crafts, and fun the second Wednesday of every month from 10-11am at Silver Street Park in New Albany.
Pre-K Storytime: 11-11:45am. Pre-K Storytime helps children ages 3-5 get ready for kindergarten with stories, songs, and fun activities that build early literacy and social skills. Siblings are welcome! No registration required.
Kid’s Club: 4-5pm.
Artistry Unleashed - Frida Kahlo and Pet Painting: 4:30-6pm. Join us at The Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center for an afternoon to learn about a different type of art each month, with a reading of a book about the art or artist for inspiration. You will be able to create your own imaginative masterpiece! All art pieces will be different, because everyone sees and feels art differently. This program is a chance to learn and be creative. All supplies will be provided! Registration required.
Make & Take: Hanging Read Sign: 6-7:30pm. Get ready for a fun night of creativity and conversation for adults! This month, we’re making a charming hanging “Read” sign, crafted with real book pages on wood. All supplies provided for free, and no special skills are needed. Registration required.

Experience the Outer Fossil Beds
9am-12pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. The outer fossils are one of the world’s amazing excursions to see Devonian fossils in their natural “habitat.” We only offer this hike in the late summer and fall when the upper gates of the McAlpine Dam are closed. This 3-hour hike is moderately rugged on uneven limestone ledges and without shade, so wear a hat. Use enclosed shoes and bring water. You will do a little wading; the worst is about two feet deep with a moderate current. We will explore the geology, history, and river dynamics & engineering of the dam and 1870 railroad bridge. Watch for birds and other wildlife. Meet at the Interpretive Center 15 minutes early to sign the waiver. The hike is for anyone over age 12. Free event.
9:30-12pm. Big Four Station. The Jeffersonville Farmers Market provides fresh, local products year round. Find us at Big Four Bridge on Saturdays from 9:30am-noon.
10am-1pm. Check out local vendors on the Charlestown City Square every Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Saturdays on the Square Pop-up Market. Vendors range from local artists, craft makers, bakers, food, authors, civic groups, and more.

Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger Program
3-4pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. As an official stop on the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, we offer the National Park’s Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger program. It comes with a J. R. activity booklet, and participants (geared for age 7 to 13) will get a Junior Ranger pin after filling the activity booklet out. Cost $2.00 per participant covered by a grant by the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.
