Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.
D&D & Donuts: 6-7pm. Come one and all to our monthly TTRPG Hangout for Teens! This event is conversation and craft based, we will NOT be playing a campaign. Once a month we will get together to chat about our campaigns, characters, and all things roleplay. All table-top role playing gamers are welcome. It doesn't matter which role playing game you play, come join in the fun. There will be snacks and a craft available. Do-nut miss it! For grades 6-12th. No registration required, just stop by!

Babies & Books: 10-10:35am. Join us on Tuesday mornings for songs and stories! For ages 2 and under.
Vintage Cafe - Power Up With Puzzles: 10-11am. Vintage Cafe is a monthly program for adults where we explore different hobbies and activities while socializing and have a fun time. January is National Puzzle Month, so we are working puzzles together! The library will provide puzzles, but you're also welcome to bring your own! Light breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all.

Mother Goose On the Loose: 1-2pm. Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy, interactive, lapsit storytime that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for school and reading. This fun-filled 30 minute session, for infants to 23 months and caregivers (older siblings are welcome), will incorporate music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings. After the storytime, we'll have 30 minutes of play and social time. *Adult participation is required in order to strengthen bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis and each caregiver will be given a lesson to follow along and practice at home.
Embroidery 101: Join us at the Galena Branch to learn the basics of the embroidery machine and how to monogram your projects! Registration is required.

3D Printing 101: 5:30-6:30pm. Bring your creative projects to life with the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon 3D printer. Learn how to use a 3D printer in this free class for ages 7 and up. This class will cover the basics on how to find or make a 3D print model, prepare it for printing, navigating the Bambu 3D printer interface, and tips to create a successful print. Saving America’s Largest Salamander
2-3pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. Indiana is home to America’s largest salamander, called the Hellbender. It is only found in one Indiana river – the Blue River in Harrison County. Come and learn about this amazing aquatic animal, what makes it special, and what you can do to keep its habitat clean. This hands-on program will cover its adaptations, how water pollution affects it, and how amphibians have changed over geological time using a life-size model of Ichthyostega, the oldest amphibian in the fossil record. This is a free program that will meet in the bird room.

Breakfast with the Beasts - Penguins
9-11am. Wake up with some of your favorite animals in this program that brings a special look into how our animals start the day. Tickets include a hot breakfast featuring a waffle bar (Belgian waffles, assorted toppings, sausage links, fresh brewed coffee, orange juice and water), parking and admission for the day at the Zoo. Plus, the chance to ask all your questions to our knowledgeable staff! Breakfast will occur near the featured animals’ exhibit area and all programs will feature an exclusive keeper talk along with a chance to create enrichment for one of the Zoo’s animals!
