Memorial Day Observance – New Albany National Cemetery
1-2pm. New Albany National Cemetery. 1943 Ekin Ave, New Albany, IN 47150. Annual ceremony honoring U.S. military personnel who died in service. Free and open to the public.
3-4pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. 201 W. Riverside Dr., Clarksville, IN 47129. Explore the collecting piles for Silurian fossils. Bring your own digging tools like a trowel or mason’s hammer. Free with park admission.
7-9pm. The Earl. Recurring weekly on Monday. New Albany, IN. Free event.

11am-12pm. New Albany Central Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. You’re invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all.
1-2pm. Galena Digital Library. 6954 US-150, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119. Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy, interactive, lapsit storytime that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for school and reading. This fun-filled 30 minute session, for infants to 23 months and caregivers (older siblings are welcome), will incorporate music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings. After the storytime, we’ll have 30 minutes of play and social time. *Adult participation is required in order to strengthen bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis and each caregiver will be given a lesson to follow along and practice at home.
6-6:45pm. New Albany Main Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. The children’s librarians will lead our Pajama Storytime with fun “bedtime” stories, rhymes and songs. Make this special storytime a part of your family’s regular weekly bedtime routine.
7-9pm. Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. JEOPARDY! Bar League, the official bar trivia experience from America’s Favorite Quiz Show is at Dog Haus Biergarten every Tuesday! Free event.

Louisville Bats vs. St. Paul Saints
6:35pm. Louisville Slugger Field. 401 E. Main St., Louisville, KY 40202. Triple-A baseball returns for a six-game homestand against the St. Paul Saints, Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins! 1-2pm. Cultural Arts Center. 201 E Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Join us for an afternoon of early literacy fun for babies! There will be stories, songs, and sensory activities for babies to interact with at the end of the program. Registration required.
4-5pm. New Albany Central Library. 180 W Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150. Come hang out each Wednesday and enjoy a different activity each week. Activities will range from play-doh to crafts to LEGOs! For Kids ages 6-11 years old. No registration required.
Coffee and Crime: A True Crime Book Club
3-4:30pm. Henryville Library. Henryville, IN. Join us for a cup of coffee and an afternoon of fun discussing a true crime book. Last Wednesday of each month. New members always welcome! Registration required.

Join us at Galena on Thursdays as we move and groove to some fun books, basic rhythms and rhymes, and different music genres! We’ll use things like a drum, hand bells, rhythm sticks, egg shakers, or scarves in this lively and interactive storytime. Moove & Groove will help build early literacy skills, social interaction, and blossoming young music lovers!

6-7:30pm. New Albany Central Library. Hang out with us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Teen Scene! Take a break in the middle of the week with a new activity, game, craft, or anything else we dream up, plus snacks! All kids ages 11-18 welcome.
For the Love of Books Book Club
6:30-8pm. Henryville Library. Henryville, IN. Join us to discuss our monthly book pick. Adults 18+.
7-10pm. The Depot at Noco. New name, same great concerts! Surfside Summer Jams features local and regional bands at Jeffersonville’s coolest venue EVERY THURSDAY, May-September. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Bag chairs are encouraged for the lawn. The Depot features a full bar, food trucks, boutique shops and more!

6-8pm. American Legion Sellersburg. Every Thursday we have a line dance class. All ages welcome, $5 per person (Legion members are free). We start with Ultra Beginner dances and work our way up. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare to have fun while getting your steps in.
