  • Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!

  • Meet & Make Mondays: Braided Fabric Rugs: 3:30-6:30pm. Cultural Arts Center.

  • Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.

Southern Indiana Visitor Center Goes Upside Down

10am-5pm. Monday-SaturdayBegin your Stranger Things™ adventure in at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center! The space has been transformed with Stranger Things™–inspired scenes. See Castle Byers, snap a photo in the Byers’ living room, and wander into the Upside Down through November 26. Free event.

Lights Under Louisville

Buckle up for a holiday journey unlike any other! Lights Under Louisville, presented by Louisville Mega Cavern and Fifth Third Bank, is more than just a drive-through light show—it’s a merry, subterranean spectacle. You'll descend into the earth and be dazzled by over 7 million twinkling lights, glowing lasers, and festive themed displays that transform the cavern into a glowing wonderland of holiday cheer. From your cozy sleigh on wheels, you'll cruise through a magical maze of yuletide joy. Roll down your windows to some holiday music, explore enchanting holiday scenes, and discover new surprises around every corner. This one-of-a-kind holiday experience is sure to create lasting Christmas memories for the whole family. It's more than a tradition; it's a festive adventure waiting to be explored! New Albany Central Library Events

  • Babies and Books: 10-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy!

  • It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all. 

  • 50 Years of Strega Nona Celebration: 4-5pm. Come to the Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the book Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola! There will be a reading of the book Strega Nona, the ability to make a special potion recipe card ( much like how to cook a Thanksgiving turkey), and imaginative play with yarn noodles and kitchen pots. We hope to see you there! Registration required.

  • Hip Hop Shakespeare: 4-5pm. The great poets of our time pair up with one of the most well-known writers of all time: William Shakespeare. Attendees exploreShakespeare’s sonnets and verse alongside contemporary music to discover rhythm, poetry and language in this hip-hop workshop intended for grades 4 - 12. Registration required.

  • Pajama Time Stories: 6-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. The children's librarians will lead our Pajama Storytime with fun "bedtime" stories, rhymes and songs. Make this special storytime a part of your family's regular weekly bedtime routine.

  • Mother Goose On the Loose: 1-2pm. Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy, interactive, lapsit storytime that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for school and reading. This fun-filled 30 minute session, for infants to 23 months and caregivers (older siblings are welcome), will incorporate music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings.  After the storytime, we'll have 30 minutes of play and social time.  *Adult participation is required in order to strengthen bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis and each caregiver will be given a lesson to follow along and practice at home. Registration required.

    White Christmas

    November 18-December 14, 2025. When the iconic movie “White Christmas” was released in 1954, it evoked a sense of romantic, old fashioned Christmas many still find captivating today. You’ll find the spirit of “White Christmas” lives on at the Clark County Indiana Museum.

  • Pre-K Storytime: 11-11:45am. Pre-K Storytime helps children ages 3-5 get ready for kindergarten with stories, songs, and fun activities that build early literacy and social skills. Siblings are welcome! No registration required.

  • Baby’s Afternoon Out: 1-2pm. Join us for an afternoon of early literacy fun for babies! There will be stories, songs, and sensory activities for babies to interact with at the end of the program. Registration required.

  • Art in Autumn: 3-6pm. Cultural Arts Center. Join us at the Cultural Arts Center for a creative and educational journey into the world of Pacific Northwest Native American tribes. Students will explore the rich traditions of totem poles as visual storytelling, learn the meanings behind animal symbols, and create their own personalized totem artwork using paper and imagination. Registration required.

  • Kid’s Club: 4-5pm.

  • 4H eSports for Teens: 4:30-5:30 & 6-7pm. Level up your gaming and learning with the Floyd County 4-H eSports Program! Hosted at the Floyd County Public Library Auditorium, this program combines education and fun. Did you know that 71% of teens play video games, and eSports helps turn that passion into skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking? Join us to game, grow, and connect! This is for grades 6-12th. Registration required.

    Corydon Christmas Extravaganza

    8am-5pm. Harrison Co. Fairgrounds. All tickets are sold at the gate - CASH ONLY. The Corydon Extravaganza is promoted and curated by Joe & Lindsey Poe, owners of the Old Town Store and Poe's Vintage Goods. It was first started in 2013 as a traditional Antique Show. It has morphed over the years into so much more. We are now considered one of the Best Vintage & Antique Flea Markets in Southern Indiana with a splash of Art Show, Food Trucks and Wineries. All of this wraps up to be an amazing shopping experience. So, grab a friend, family member, neighbor or coworker and come shop one of Indiana's best festivals. 8-10am admission $10, 10am-5pm admission $5. 13 years and under are free.

    Predation of the Devonian Ocean

    1-2pm. Join Seasonal Naturalist Nick for a program about the predator/prey dynamics of an ancient ocean. We will play a game based on a smash hit party game, just repackaged for what our fossil beds were possibly 390+ Million Years ago. Plus learn a bit about the animals that would have hunted and been hunted millions of years ago. Free event.

    Light Up Jeff & Holiday Parade 2025

    4-7pm. he fun kicks off at 4 PM with the North Pole Party on Court Avenue (Spring St-Wall St). There will be rides, games visits with Santa, live entertainment, treats, and more! At 6 pm, the Holiday Lights Parade makes its way up Spring St (Market St-7th Ave). The public is invited to line the streets and enjoy the show that features floats, unique automobiles, and other cool vehicles. Free event.

    Christmas At Kentucky Kingdom

    We're dreaming of a white, bright and glowing Christmas this season at Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville's Family Theme & Water Park! Get ready to immerse yourself in the magic of the season among dazzling displays of over 1.5 MILLION lights, over 300 Christmas trees and holiday decor as far as the eye can see. Horn Coral Copia - Art at the Falls

3-4pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. The cornucopia represents the fruitful harvest. Some fossil horn corals have a similar shape. You’re going to combine these to make a small “horn coralcopia” to take home. Guide by artist Mike Gibson. Meets in the rotunda. $2 program fee covered by Falls of the Ohio Foundation grant.

15th Birthday Bash: Movie & More

5pm. KFC Yum! Center. The KFC Yum! Center is turning 15, and we’re celebrating a decade and a half of unforgettable memories with a Birthday Bash that’s merry, magical, and full of surprises! To celebrate, we’re making one of our favorite traditions , Family Movie Night, bigger, brighter and merrier than ever! Gather the whole family on Sunday, November 23, for a free evening of festive fun. Our 15th Birthday Bash: Movie & More! Presented by Norton Children's is full of fun for the entire family! This year’s holiday feature is the beloved animated classic The Grinch, shown on the arena’s massive center-hung digital screen; it’s the perfect way to kick off the season!
