  • Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!

  • Stories & Art with Ms. Ashley: 3:30-4:30pm. Cultural Arts Center.

  • Meet & Make Mondays: Braided Fabric Rugs: 3:30-6:30pm. Cultural Arts Center.

  • Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.

  • Stem Builders Club: 4-5pm. Calling all LEGO lovers, join us for a fun day of building!  Kids of all ages can play and build using the library’s LEGOs and other engineering materials. Southern Indiana Visitor Center Goes Upside Down

10am-5pm. Monday-SaturdayBegin your Stranger Things™ adventure in at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center! The space has been transformed with Stranger Things™–inspired scenes. See Castle Byers, snap a photo in the Byers’ living room, and wander into the Upside Down through November 26. Free event.

Lights Under Louisville

Buckle up for a holiday journey unlike any other! Lights Under Louisville, presented by Louisville Mega Cavern and Fifth Third Bank, is more than just a drive-through light show—it’s a merry, subterranean spectacle. You'll descend into the earth and be dazzled by over 7 million twinkling lights, glowing lasers, and festive themed displays that transform the cavern into a glowing wonderland of holiday cheer. From your cozy sleigh on wheels, you'll cruise through a magical maze of yuletide joy. Roll down your windows to some holiday music, explore enchanting holiday scenes, and discover new surprises around every corner. This one-of-a-kind holiday experience is sure to create lasting Christmas memories for the whole family. It's more than a tradition; it's a festive adventure waiting to be explored! New Albany Central Library Events

  • Babies and Books: 10-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy!

  • It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all. 

  • Pajama Time Stories: 6-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. The children's librarians will lead our Pajama Storytime with fun "bedtime" stories, rhymes and songs. Make this special storytime a part of your family's regular weekly bedtime routine.

    Galena Library Events

  • Mother Goose On the Loose: 1-2pm. Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy, interactive, lapsit storytime that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for school and reading. This fun-filled 30 minute session, for infants to 23 months and caregivers (older siblings are welcome), will incorporate music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings.  After the storytime, we'll have 30 minutes of play and social time.  *Adult participation is required in order to strengthen bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis and each caregiver will be given a lesson to follow along and practice at home. Registration required.

  • Teen Tuesday: 5-6pm. Come chill at the library for Teen Tuesday!  This month you can create a fall or freestyle yarn art project. Teens & tweens are welcome.  Registration is recommended and snacks will be provided!

    White Christmas

    November 18-December 14, 2025. When the iconic movie “White Christmas” was released in 1954, it evoked a sense of romantic, old fashioned Christmas many still find captivating today. You’ll find the spirit of “White Christmas” lives on at the Clark County Indiana Museum.

    Jeopardy Bar League

    7-9pm. Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. JEOPARDY! Bar League, the official bar trivia experience from America’s Favorite Quiz Show is at Dog Haus Biergarten every Tuesday! Free event.

  • Pre-K Storytime: 11-11:45am. Pre-K Storytime helps children ages 3-5 get ready for kindergarten with stories, songs, and fun activities that build early literacy and social skills. Siblings are welcome! No registration required.

  • Baby’s Afternoon Out: 1-2pm. Join us for an afternoon of early literacy fun for babies! There will be stories, songs, and sensory activities for babies to interact with at the end of the program. Registration required.

  • Art in Autumn: 3-6pm. Cultural Arts Center. Join us at the Cultural Arts Center for a creative and educational journey into the world of Pacific Northwest Native American tribes. Students will explore the rich traditions of totem poles as visual storytelling, learn the meanings behind animal symbols, and create their own personalized totem artwork using paper and imagination. Registration required.

45th Annual Christmas in the Country

9am-4pm. Friday & Saturday. Floyds Knobs Community Club. FREE PARKING & FREE ADMISSION! Christmas in the Country is a whimsical and unique consignment event featuring a curated collection from local crafters and handmade artisans. This beloved Floyds Knobs tradition is in its 45th year held over Thanksgiving weekend where you can find the best gifts and goodies for the holiday season.

Light Up Charlestown

5pm. Greenway Park, Charlestown. Gather for sounds of holiday music, food trucks and the flipping of the light switch at 6 p.m. From that moment forward, the City of Charlestown will glow with lights throughout the holiday season at Greenway Park, the City Square and the Family Activities Park.

Light Up Clarksville

5-7pm. Bolt & Tie Clarksville IN. Join us for the 1st Annual Light Up Clarksville, a festive evening filled with holiday cheer for the whole community! The fun begins with the Cookie Stroll from 5 to 7 p.m., where you can enjoy sweet treats as you stroll through downtown. At 5:45 p.m., gather around as Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive to help us officially kick off the season by lighting the town Christmas tree. After the lighting, families can take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 6 to 7 p.m. The celebration continues throughout the evening with live entertainment from the Clarksville Little Theater, Clarksville High School, and Providence High School. Come enjoy cookies, music, and holiday magic as we celebrate the start of the season together!

Gardens Aglimmer - Opening Night

5:45pm. Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Stroll through pathways illuminated with giant glowing flowers, shimmering snowflakes, twinkling archways, and sparkling deer. Write a letter to Santa, create a festive craft, and even meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! They will be present all nights of the event until Christmas. After that, they will return to the North Pole! Warm drinks and sweet treats will be for sale at the outdoor Jingle All the Way Café, and Frosty’s Tinsel Tavern, a new bar inside the Graeser Family Education Center will offer beer, wine, and festive signature cocktails for purchase. Tickets required.
