Lights Under Louisville, presented by Louisville Mega Cavern and Fifth Third Bank, is more than just a drive-through light show—it’s a merry, subterranean spectacle. From your cozy sleigh on wheels, you'll cruise through a magical maze of yuletide joy. Babies and Books: 10-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy!
It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all.
Pajama Time Stories: 6-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. The children's librarians will lead our Pajama Storytime with fun "bedtime" stories, rhymes and songs. Make this special storytime a part of your family's regular weekly bedtime routine.

Mother Goose On the Loose: 1-2pm. Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy, interactive, lapsit storytime that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for school and reading. This fun-filled 30 minute session, for infants to 23 months and caregivers (older siblings are welcome), will incorporate music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings. After the storytime, we'll have 30 minutes of play and social time. *Adult participation is required in order to strengthen bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis and each caregiver will be given a lesson to follow along and practice at home. Registration required.

November 18-December 14, 2025. When the iconic movie “White Christmas” was released in 1954, it evoked a sense of romantic, old fashioned Christmas many still find captivating today. You’ll find the spirit of “White Christmas” lives on at the Clark County Indiana Museum.
5pm. Bass Pro Shops Clarksville. Make your reservation for Christmas Tales for a story time with Mrs. Claus and Santa every Tuesday beginning November 4 and running through December 23. Reservations are required as space is limited. Listen to a story, and then get your free photo with Mrs. Claus and Santa! These story times are every Tuesday at 5pm during our 2025 Santa's Wonderland. Reservations can be made at basspro.com/santa, then look for Christmas Tales! This is different from the photo with Santa!
7-9pm. Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. JEOPARDY! Bar League, the official bar trivia experience from America’s Favorite Quiz Show is at Dog Haus Biergarten every Tuesday! Free event.

Pre-K Storytime: 11-11:45am. Pre-K Storytime helps children ages 3-5 get ready for kindergarten with stories, songs, and fun activities that build early literacy and social skills. Siblings are welcome! No registration required.
Baby’s Afternoon Out: 1-2pm. Join us for an afternoon of early literacy fun for babies! There will be stories, songs, and sensory activities for babies to interact with at the end of the program. Registration required.
Watercolor Wednesdays: 4-6pm. Cultural Arts Center. Join us at the Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center to watercolor paint winter and holiday scenes in the month of December, such as, a penguin, Christmas tree, snowman, and more. All supplies will be provided. We look forward to seeing you! Registration required.
Kid’s Club: 4-5pm.
Holiday Decoration Making for Teens: 6-7:30pm. Come enjoy holiday-themed treats and make an ornament or decoration to donate to the seniors in assisted living (and after that, make one for yourself!).

Move & Groove Storytime: 10:30-11:30am. Join us at Galena on Thursdays as we move and groove to some fun books, basic rhythms and rhymes, and different music genres! We'll use things like a drum, hand bells, rhythm sticks, egg shakers, or scarves in this lively and interactive storytime. Moove & Groove will help build early literacy skills, social interaction, and blossoming young music lovers!
Cricut 101: 5:30-6:30pm. Come into Galena and learn how to use the basics of Cricut! We will be covering the capabilities of Cricut, how to design a Cricut project, and use the Cricut machine and tools! Registration required.

Christmas with John Berry Concert
7-9pm. Jefferson Plaza Hall 1710 East 10th St., Jeffersonville, IN 47130. It's an evening of his biggest hits and following a brief intermission the songs of Christmas John is so famous for. It's an evening for the whole family to enjoy, one you won't forget! Tickets required.
Louisville Cardinals vs. University of South Carolina Gamecocks Women's Basketball
7pm. KFC Yum! Center. Tickets required.
Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Stroll through pathways illuminated with giant glowing flowers, shimmering snowflakes, twinkling archways, and sparkling deer. Write a letter to Santa, create a festive craft, and even meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! They will be present all nights of the event until Christmas. After that, they will return to the North Pole! Warm drinks and sweet treats will be for sale at the outdoor Jingle All the Way Café, and Frosty’s Tinsel Tavern, a new bar inside the Graeser Family Education Center will offer beer, wine, and festive signature cocktails for purchase. Reads & Roasts Sip & Chat: 8-9am. Kolkin Coffee. You're invited to a Reads & Roasts popup event at Kolkin Coffee, located at 2736 Charlestown Rd in New Albany! Make a great start to your day with Kolkin coffee and the Floyd County Library! Reads & Roasts is our coffee (and tea!) themed reading challenge for adults and teens. Participants 13 and older can win a keychain and a choice of coffee mug -- by logging reading minutes, visiting local coffee and tea shops, and attending library events. Continue your reading streak to improve your chances at winning grand prizes including gift cards to our participating shops and a gift basket with coffee and tea-related goodies.
Morning Stories: 10-11am. Preschool audience ages 3-5.
First Friday Concert: Christmas Concert Singalong: 12-12:45pm. Our December tradition - this year, the Clarksville High School Choir joins with members of the Community Music Alliance Choir and Orchestra to present a program of holiday favorites. Friends of the Library Book Sale: 10am-1pm. The Friends of the Library, which is a volunteer support group of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, host a Book Sale four times a month. The sales are usually held on the 2nd & 4th Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. For the month of December, 2025, they will be held on the 1st & 3rd Friday and Saturday.

7pm. Pamela Brown Auditorium, Actors Theatre of Louisville, 316 W Main St. Scrooge is back in all of his humbug glory! His disdain for Christmas is no match for visits from enchanting ghosts, a lively ensemble of characters, and the music of the season. Honoring Dickens’ classic tale, this acclaimed adaptation embraces generosity, community, and second chances. Bring your friends and family to Actors Theatre of Louisville for a new production celebrating this beloved tradition. Tickets required.
7:30pm. Clarksville Little Theatre. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages. Tails and Tales - Read to Mia the Therapy Dog: 10-11am. Come read to therapy dog, Mia! This program is intended to help reluctant readers read. Anyone can come read to her. Registration required.
The Nutcracker: A Holiday Dance Adventure: 11am-12pm. Join us for a magical morning of holiday fun with Motion Studio! Families will enjoy a reading of The Nutcracker, take part in a short movement class, and even learn a simple dance. The program will wrap up with a special performance by a few of the studio’s talented dancers. A perfect way to celebrate the season and experience a holiday classic brought to life! Frost & Fun! A Winter Creativity Celebration: 1-3pm. Step into a day of warmth, wonder, and winter cheer at the Carnegie Cultural Arts Center with Frost & Fun: A Winter Creativity Celebration! Throughout December, we’re transforming areas of your Zoo into a winter wonderland, complete with holiday-themed decorations and animal enrichment. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit and cure your cabin fever with an exciting month-long scavenger hunt — a perfect activity for the whole family. Participants who complete at least half of the game will be entered to win Zoo-themed prizes. Free with zoo admission or membership.

Magic Inc. presents Nutcracker in a Nutshell
2pm. The Louisville Palace. this shorter version of the Nutcracker, allows children to enjoy this classic holiday tradition. You'll see the magical Nutcracker come to life before Clara's eyes and watch him battle the Mouse King before embarking on a journey to the Land of the Sweets. Your kids will enjoy all the fun of watching this magical story filled with spellbinding dancing, performed by some of the area's best young dance talents. Tickets required.

3-6pm. Novaparke 111 Innovation Parkway Georgetown. In addition to pictures with Santa Claus and Buddy the Elf, there will be a Touch-a-Truck area featuring Floyd County public safety vehicles, an Ornament Station from Destination Georgetown, a Creative Candy Collage Station from Maria Davis of Kindling Studios, face painting, balloon animals, Parks Department activities, the Maker Mobile from Maker13 and more. The Scoop’s Mobile Sweet Shop will be selling soup, chili, coffee and hot chocolate to keep away the winter chill.

Christmas Bazaar and Open House
12-4pm. Howard Steamboat Museum. Specialty Arts and Crafts vendors in the Carriage House with the perfect gifts, Santa will be here for the young ones, the museum will be decorated in era appropriate finery, and open for tours. Suggested $5 donation.
12-5pm. Scribner House. 110 E. Main St. New Albany, IN 47150. Tour New Albany's oldest home. Please join us at noon on December 7th as we help the Indiana Historical Society recognize Pam Peters, a Piankeshaw Chapter Member and author, for her contributions to preserving our history, as she receives the Dorothy Riker Hoosier Historian Award. We are thrilled that the Indiana Historical Society will be joining us right before the Chapter Christmas Tea, when we will have the Halls Decked and ready to showcase our beautiful Scribner House. Homemade goods. Gift shop. Free, donations appreciated.

Movie Night - The Polar Express
