D&D & Donuts for Teens: 6-7pm. Come one and all to our monthly TTRPG Hangout for Teens! Once a month we will get together to chat about our campaigns, characters, and all things roleplay. All table-top role playing gamers are welcome. It doesn't matter which role playing game you play, come join in the fun. There will be snacks and a craft available. Do-nut miss it! For grades 6-12th. You'll descend into the earth and be dazzled by over 7 million twinkling lights, glowing lasers, and festive themed displays that transform the cavern into a glowing wonderland of holiday cheer. From your cozy sleigh on wheels, you'll cruise through a magical maze of yuletide joy. Roll down your windows to some holiday music, explore enchanting holiday scenes, and discover new surprises around every corner. Babies and Books: 10-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy!
It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all.
History of the World’s Holiday Traditions: 5-6:30pm. Cultural Arts Center. Join us at the Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center to learn about holiday traditions from all over the world. This is a hands on class, and you'll get to leave with fun trinkets to share just in time for the holidays! Feel free to also bring a book to trade with others, which is the tradition for Iceland! We look forward to seeing you! Registration required.
Pajama Time Stories: 6-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. The children's librarians will lead our Pajama Storytime with fun "bedtime" stories, rhymes and songs. Make this special storytime a part of your family's regular weekly bedtime routine.

Mother Goose On the Loose: 1-2pm. Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy, interactive, lapsit storytime that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for school and reading. This fun-filled 30 minute session, for infants to 23 months and caregivers (older siblings are welcome), will incorporate music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings. After the storytime, we'll have 30 minutes of play and social time. *Adult participation is required in order to strengthen bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis and each caregiver will be given a lesson to follow along and practice at home. Registration required.
Embroidery 101: 5:30-6:30pm. Join us at the Galena Branch to learn the basics of the embroidery machine and how to monogram your projects! Registration required.

November 18-December 14, 2025. When the iconic movie “White Christmas” was released in 1954, it evoked a sense of romantic, old fashioned Christmas many still find captivating today. You’ll find the spirit of “White Christmas” lives on at the Clark County Indiana Museum.
5pm. Bass Pro Shops Clarksville. Make your reservation for Christmas Tales for a story time with Mrs. Claus and Santa every Tuesday beginning November 4 and running through December 23. Reservations are required as space is limited. Listen to a story, and then get your free photo with Mrs. Claus and Santa! These story times are every Tuesday at 5pm during our 2025 Santa's Wonderland. Reservations can be made at basspro.com/santa, then look for Christmas Tales! This is different from the photo with Santa!

Baby’s Afternoon Out: 1-2pm. Join us for an afternoon of early literacy fun for babies! There will be stories, songs, and sensory activities for babies to interact with at the end of the program. Registration required.
Watercolor Wednesdays: 4-6pm. Cultural Arts Center. Join us at the Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center to watercolor paint winter and holiday scenes in the month of December, such as, a penguin, Christmas tree, snowman, and more. His disdain for Christmas is no match for visits from enchanting ghosts, a lively ensemble of characters, and the music of the season. Beginner Mat Yoga with the YMCA: 5:30-6:30pm. New to yoga? Join us for a free beginner yoga class at The Floyd County Library! Learn about yoga basics, terminology, and postures. Practice yoga at your own level in a safe and supportive environment with guidance from a registered yoga teacher from the YMCA (200RYT). Modifications will be offered as you practice each pose. Yoga mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own, or any optional props, straps, and sweater in case you get cold. Registration required.
Teen Scene: 6-7:30pm. Hang out with us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Teen Scene! Take a break in the middle of the week with a new activity, game, craft, or anything else we dream up, plus snacks! All teens are welcome (11-18 years old).

7:30pm. December 11-14. Clarksville Little Theatre. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages. Tickets required.
Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Stroll through pathways illuminated with giant glowing flowers, shimmering snowflakes, twinkling archways, and sparkling deer. Write a letter to Santa, create a festive craft, and even meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! They will be present all nights of the event until Christmas. After that, they will return to the North Pole! Warm drinks and sweet treats will be for sale at the outdoor Jingle All the Way Café, and Frosty’s Tinsel Tavern, a new bar inside the Graeser Family Education Center will offer beer, wine, and festive signature cocktails for purchase. Reads & Roasts Sip & Chat: 8-9am. Starlight Coffee Company. You're invited to a Reads & Roasts popup event at Starlight Coffee Company, located at 6500 IN-64 in Georgetown! Make a great start to your day with Starlight coffee and the Floyd County Library! Reads & Roasts is our coffee (and tea!) themed reading challenge for adults and teens. Participants 13 and older can win a keychain and a choice of coffee mug -- by logging reading minutes, visiting local coffee and tea shops, and attending library events. Throughout December, we’re transforming areas of your Zoo into a winter wonderland, complete with holiday-themed decorations and animal enrichment. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit and cure your cabin fever with an exciting month-long scavenger hunt — a perfect activity for the whole family. Participants who complete at least half of the game will be entered to win Zoo-themed prizes. Free with zoo admission or membership.

3-4:30pm. 999 Water Street, Charlestown, IN 47111. The cost is $25 for wood and $20 for canvas events per person per date (ages 5-up). All supplies, including your final piece of art to take home, are included. The event includes drinks and a light snack/dessert. There is a 30 participant maximum per event.
3-4pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. Using acorns and twigs, dressed in colorful cloth, participants will make ornaments with a seashell base. Guided by artist Mike Gibson. Meets in the rotunda. $2 program fee covered by a grant from the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.
