  • Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes

Southern Indiana Visitor Center Goes Upside Down

10am-5pm. Monday-SaturdayBegin your Stranger Things™ adventure in at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center! The space has been transformed with Stranger Things™–inspired scenes. See Castle Byers, snap a photo in the Byers’ living room, and wander into the Upside Down through November 26. Free event.

  • Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required.

  • It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all. 

  • Pajama Time Stories: 6pm-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. Registration not required.

    The Last Afternoon with Alan

After 31 years, interpretive naturalist and park paleontologist is hanging up his uniform and retiring from the Falls of the Ohio State Park at the end of the day. This is your last opportunity to bring in rocks and fossils for identification or ask questions about geology & fossils. He will share memories from his time here.

Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger Program

1-2pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. As an official stop on the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, we offer the National Park’s Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger program. It comes with a J. R. activity booklet, and participants (geared for age 7 to 13) will get a Junior Ranger pin after filling the activity booklet out.  Cost $2.00 per participant covered by a grant by the Falls of the Ohio Foundation. Meets in the classroom.

Louisville Cardinals Women’s Basketball

2pm. KFC Yum! Center. Louisville Cardinals Womens Basketball vs. Northern Kentucky Norse Womens Basketball. Tickets required.

Dinosaurs Gosh Dung It

3-4pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. Coprolites are a paleontological curiosity. How can dinosaur droppings be preserved as fossils? Many animal droppings are preserved in the fossil record. Learn about this unusual and important trace fossil from Dale Brown, a local amateur paleontologist and park volunteer. Meets in the rotunda. Free program.
