Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!
Stories and Art with Ms. Ashley: 10:30-11:30. Cultural Arts Center. Join us for stories, songs, movement activities! We will end with an art activity to take home! This session, we will read "Time to Make Art" by Jeff Mack and do a method of painting called Blow Painting.
Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.

Teen Craft - Yarn Pumpkins: 5:30-6:30pm. Library teens are welcome to join Ms. Monica on the atumnal equinox for a cozy fall craft! Bring your creativity as we create our own chunky-yarn pumpkins.
Haunted Scavenger Hunt & Pub Crawl 2025
Kiwanis Club, in partnership with the New Albany Wicked Walk, is excited to announce the 1st Annual Haunted Scavenger Hunt and Pub Crawl. This unique event takes participants through eight historical buildings and five pubs in downtown New Albany, combining history, fun, and a spooky twist. The scavenger hunt runs from September 12 through October 31, and tickets are $30 each, with four participants recommended per ticket. Proceeds will benefit local elementary students by providing back-to-school kits for NAFC schools. The hunt can be completed on any day, at any time, making it easy to fit into your schedule. Clues are accessed through QR codes located on the buildings, adding an interactive element to the adventure.

Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required.
It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all.
Sun & Moon Weavings with Mosaic Skies: 3-6pm. The Cultural Arts Center. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a colorful, hands-on journey into the art and symbolism of ancient Mesoamerica. Inspired by Aztec depictions of the sun and moon, this workshop invites students to explore the vibrant traditions of Mexico and Central America through yarn weaving and mosaic-making. Registration required.
Pajama Time Stories: 6pm-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. Registration not required.

5-7pm. 305 North Ferguson, Henryville, IN. Henryville Farmers Market opens May 6th and runs until October 23rd. The Market will be open every Tuesday and Thursday. Help support your local farmers and Small Businesses. We will also have Food Trucks at some of the Markets. We will let everyone know the week before what Food Truck will be there.
6pm. Derby Dinner Playhouse. Aug 13, 2025 - Sep 28, 2025. This exciting new Broadway Musical chronicles the real-life experiences of the people of Gander, Newfoundland, and the almost 7,000 airline passengers who were forced to land there when US air space was closed on September 11, 2001. Twelve actors tell the story of both the Islanders and the Plane People, revealing the fear and uncertainty that came with the terrorist attacks – as well as the profound generosity and compassion of strangers. Tickets required.

House of Anguish at the Culbertson Mansion has been scaring Kentuckiana for 40 years, making it one of the longest-running haunted attractions in the region. 9:30-12pm. Big Four Station. The Jeffersonville Farmers Market provides fresh, local products year round. Find us at Big Four Bridge on Saturdays from 9:30am-noon.
10am-1pm. Check out local vendors on the Charlestown City Square every Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Saturdays on the Square Pop-up Market. Vendors range from local artists, craft makers, bakers, food, authors, civic groups, and more.
Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art
10am-5pm. At the end of September each year, Madison’s National Landmark Historic District welcomes thousands of visitors during the two-day Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art. Come and experience Southern Indiana’s premier outdoor juried arts & crafts festival featuring approximately 175 exhibitors. This festival is free to the public and designed for the whole family to enjoy, although pets do need to remain home. In addition to the fine artists and craftsmen showcasing their handmade work, the festival features continuous live entertainment, a riverfront food fest, kid’s activities, and an entertainment garden with local craft beer and wine available.

5-9pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. Rediscover the Falls of the Ohio for a one-of-a-kind concert on the 390-million-year-old fossil beds at the Falls of the Ohio State Park.
