  • Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!

  • Stories & Art with Ms. Ashley: 3:30-4:30pm. Cultural Arts Center.

  • Meet & Make Mondays: 3-6pm. Cultural Arts Center.

  • Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.

  • Merry Maker’s Ornament Sewing: 4-6pm. Join our Merry Maker's class to learn how to sew felt ornaments for your tree! In this class you will learn two beginner's level hand stitches in order to craft your own sugar cookie-themed ornaments! No previous sewing experience required! Registration required.

  • Stem Builders Club: 4-5pm. Calling all LEGO lovers, join us for a fun day of building!  Kids of all ages can play and build using the library’s LEGOs and other engineering materials. Winter Break Science Camp

8:30am-4:30pm. December 22-January 2. Kentucky Science Center. When school is out, Science Camp is in with exhibits, experiments, movies, classes, labs and FUN! At camp, your child will have the opportunity to develop skills and make friendships that will last a lifetime. All campers are encouraged to play, tinker, and investigate the world around them with plenty of time to explore.

Paristown's 7th Annual Fête de Noël

12-9pm. Running through January 4, 2026. Paristown announced the 7th Annual Fête de Noël, presented by Stock Yards Bank & Trust will return on Nov.28th and will be open through Jan. 4th.  The five-week winter holiday festival includes the 100’ x 50’ outdoor Crystal Ice-Skating Rink located in the heart of Paristown. Fête de Noël will also feature the Kroger Fresh Express – Paristown’s charming trackless train for young and old alike, Santa’s House with Santa visits and photos, the Brent Street Holiday Market with 20 local market shoppes, all in a delightful atmosphere filled with festive decorations, holiday music, numerous special events, and tasty food and beverage options to please everyone.

  • Family Movie The Muppet Christmas Carol: 1-3pm. Cultural Arts Center. Join us at the Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center for a Family Movie event showing of The Muppet Christmas Carol. We will watch the film and then make a gingerbread man craft. Everyone will leave with a gingerbread recipe to use at home. We hope to see you there! Registration required.

  • Mother Goose On the Loose: 1-2pm. Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy, interactive, lapsit storytime that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for school and reading. This fun-filled 30 minute session, for infants to 23 months and caregivers (older siblings are welcome), will incorporate music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings.  After the storytime, we'll have 30 minutes of play and social time.  *Adult participation is required in order to strengthen bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis and each caregiver will be given a lesson to follow along and practice at home. Registration required.

    Christmas Tales - Story Time

    5pm. Bass Pro Shops Clarksville. Make your reservation for Christmas Tales for a story time with Mrs. Claus and Santa every Tuesday beginning November 4 and running through December 23. Reservations are required as space is limited. Listen to a story, and then get your free photo with Mrs. Claus and Santa! These story times are every Tuesday at 5pm during our 2025 Santa's Wonderland. Reservations can be made at basspro.com/santa, then look for Christmas Tales! This is different from the photo with Santa!

    Gardens Aglimmer

    Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Stroll through pathways illuminated with giant glowing flowers, shimmering snowflakes, twinkling archways, and sparkling deer. Write a letter to Santa, create a festive craft, and even meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! They will be present all nights of the event until Christmas. After that, they will return to the North Pole! Warm drinks and sweet treats will be for sale at the outdoor Jingle All the Way Café, and Frosty’s Tinsel Tavern, a new bar inside the Graeser Family Education Center will offer beer, wine, and festive signature cocktails for purchase. Tickets required.

    Jeopardy Bar League

    7-9pm. Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. JEOPARDY! Bar League, the official bar trivia experience from America’s Favorite Quiz Show is at Dog Haus Biergarten every Tuesday! Free event.

Lights Under Louisville

Christmas At Kentucky Kingdom

We're dreaming of a white, bright and glowing Christmas this season at Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville's Family Theme & Water Park! Make a Nature Party Hat - Art at the Falls

2-3pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. Are your children having their own New Year’s Eve celebration at home? Come to our special year-end Art at the Falls program and decorate a New Year’s Eve party hat with natural materials. Special time 2 to 3 PM. Artist Mike Gibson will lead this activity. The $2 program fee is covered by a Falls of the Ohio Foundation grant. No reservation needed.
