Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!
Summer Meals Program: 12-12:45pm. The Summer Meals program is back! All children 0-18 years old can enjoy a FREE lunch and fun activity at New Albany Central Library every weekday from June 2 - July 25. We’ll have a new craft or activity every day, starting at 11 AM next to the Cafe Area. Free lunch will be served from 12 PM - 12:45 PM. No registration is required. Just drop by!
CAC Family Cinema: 1:30-3:30pm. Moana 2 is our feature film for this weeks CAC Family Cinema. Create your own tropical lei and enjoy a free snack & juice.Registration required.
Zeus: Lightning in a Jar STEM Activity: 3-4pm. Who was the Greek god, Zeus? What were his special talents? Join us for a fun filled program where we will explore the god of the sky and thunder. We will also learn about weather and how quickly it changes during the volatile summer months. Finally, we will try out our own "magical" skills at making lightning in a jar. Registration required.
Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes. Here, children are free to stand up, walk around, etc.
Monday Mystery Book Club: A Right to Die by Rex Stout: 6-7pm. Join us for a lively discussion of mystery books each month. From cozy mysteries to detective novels to thrillers, chat about your prime suspects, the crime, characters, and more. You do not have to finish the book before you come, but be warned: spoilers lie ahead. Registration required.
Library Events - Jeffersonville Branch
Making Memories: 2-3pm. Handprints are a unique way to say "that summer we were together." Grab your siblings or your besties to make your mark on a fun keepsake. This program will be outdoors, weather permitting. Dress accordingly. Registration required.

Morning Walk Club: 8-10am. Southern Indiana Sports Center. Join us weekdays from 8-10 a.m. at the climate-controlled Southern Indiana Sports Center for a comfortable and energizing way to stay active. Free event.
Cultural Pass 2025: Cultural Pass offers young people ages 0-21 and their families in the Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana area access to participate in arts, culture, science, history, heritage, and nature activities provided by over 50 venues, free of charge, from May 31 through August 10, 2025. New for 2025 download the app to your phone.
Retro-Active-Vision: Works by Scott Scarboro Exhibition: 10am-7pm. The Cultural Arts Center. Exhibit open May 22nd-October 18th. Multimedia artist Scott Scarboro has utilized numerous materials and processes for self-expression for over 3 decades. This exhibit is not really a retrospective, but a sampling of his hand-glitched videos, mixed media sculptures and quilts from the past, his current sound and video creations, along with offerings to the universe for hope and luck for future conceptions.
Get Fit, Floyd County!: 6-7pm. Kevin Hammersmith Park. Floyd County Parks and Recreation offers FREE outdoor group fitness classes on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings! All Get Fit, Floyd County! classes will take place at the KFC Stage and turf grass area, located between the main entrance to the New Albany Little League fields and the splash pad.
Music Bingo Mondays: 6:30-8:30pm. Derby City Pizza New Albany. Prizes: $5 for single, $5 for double bingo, $10 for coverall.
Tuesday, June 17
Fort Building Challenge: All Day Event. The Cultural Arts Center. Challenge your creativity and building skills with our fort creator kits. Families can build their fort and then take photos for our wall of "Best of Show." This program is self guided and anytime throughout the day.
Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required.

Henryville Farmer’s Market: 5-7pm. 305 North Ferguson, Henryville, IN. Henryville Farmers Market opens May 6th and runs until October 23rd. The Market will be open every Tuesday and Thursday. Help support your local farmers and Small Businesses. We will also have Food Trucks at some of the Markets. We will let everyone know the week before what Food Truck will be there.
Pizza & Chill at Wine Shop: 5-9pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Unwind with us every Tuesday from 5:00pm-9:00pm for our Pizza & Chill Special! Enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious flatbread pizza for just $20 . Plus, take advantage of our 1/2 off bottles of wine in-house to keep the good vibes flowing.
Half Baked: 6pm. Derby Dinner Playhouse. Recurring Daily through June 29. Retired brothers Jay and Sonny Allen move to central Florida with their wives to open a cafe. When the business starts to fail and their nest egg dries up, they decide to take drastic action and generate some cash. Action that includes murder for hire and baking cannabis into the appetizers to ‘stimulate’ business! And when an old boyfriend and a Latvian loan shark arrive on the scene, things really get complicated. This new comedy is a sure recipe for hilarity! Tickets required.
Kids Eat Free Tuesday: 4-10pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Every Tuesday, for every adult meal purchased, one child under the age of 12 can order a meal from the kid’s menu for free.

Pre-K Storytime: 11-11:45am. The Cultural Arts Center. Pre-K Storytime helps children ages 3-5 get ready for kindergarten with stories, songs, and fun activities that build early literacy and social skills. Siblings are welcome! No registration required.

Family Movie Night at Floyd Central High School: Space Jam: 5-7pm. Galena Library is partnering with Floyd County High School this summer, so we would love it if you joined us to watch Space Jam in the FCHS planetarium! We will have chips and water for refreshments, and you're more than welcome to bring your own movie watching favorites. We hope to see you there! Registration required.
Family Education Classes with CCYS: 6-8pm. Join us each Wednesday for free, in-person Family Education & Support Classes, presented by the Clark County Youth Shelter and Family Services. These supportive and engaging sessions are perfect for parents, guardians, and anyone in a caregiving role. The 9-week series covers topics such as community resources, healthy discipline, communication skills, understanding misbehavior, and setting children up for school success. Participants are entered into a monthly prize drawing for each session they attend!
Outdoor Yoga at Galena: 6-7pm. Galena. Join us on Wednesdays through the Summer for an outdoor yoga class with Instructor, Maria Peppas. This class is a basic beginner Yoga class that will help you destress after your day. Yoga mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. We hope to see you there! Registration required.

Juneteenth Windsock Craft: 1-2pm. Come join us as we celebrate Freedom Day as we create a Juneteenth windsock! Learn about this important holiday as we create a fun craft!
Juneteenth Celebration: 2-4pm. Juneteenth is the day that African American people celebrate their true freedom. July 4th - not everyone was truly free in America. On June 19, 1865, some still enslaved African Americans were informed of their freedom, at last.

Geography, History & Wildlife of the Falls: 2-4pm. The Falls of the Ohio is more than a geological wonder, it is a place the served as a focal point in history. George Rogers Clark founded Louisville and Clarksville, captured the Northwest Territory from the British. Free event.
Charlestown Farmer’s Market: 3-6pm. 1370 Monroe St., Charlestown, IN. Recurring weekly on Wednesdays.
Gatsby at the Gardens: 6-8pm. Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Slip into your finest flapper fringe or dapper duds for a Great Gatsby garden party at Waterfront Botanical Gardens! Stroll the grounds, enjoy delectable bites from True North Catering, sip on swanky cocktails from the cash bar, and dance the night away to the sounds of live jazz music by the Gatsby Jazz Band. The drinks are cold, the jazz is hot, and the Gardens are calling. $60 tickets for non-members.
Girls Night Out Cruise: 7pm. Belle of Louisville Riverboats. This one’s for the girls! Celebrate each other and the women who’ve shaped river history aboard the Mary M. Real Science Presents: Lizards, Snakes and Other Reptiles: 11am-12pm. Examine reptile characteristics, adaptations, and life cycles using live animals with Brad Reynolds from Real Science! Brad has a Master of Science in wildlife biology, has taught biology for 10 years, and has been with Real Science Programs for 20 years. Learn how reptiles are related and grouped and compare them to other vertebrate animals. Video technology will show close-up views of the animals, along with original video clips and pictures. Registration required.

5k Wine Run at Hubers : 9am. Huber’s Orchard and Winery. The Summer 5k Wine Run is back at Huber's Orchard & Winery! This professionally timed and chipped race is a great way to get moving and enjoy the beauty of the Huber's Farm. Walk, jog, run, or all three around the beautiful grounds and finish with a complimentary glass of wine or cider. All attendees receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal, and shatterproof souvenir wine glass. Registration required.
Saturdays on the Square: 10am-1pm. Check out local vendors on the Charlestown City Square every Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Saturdays on the Square Pop-up Market. Vendors range from local artists, craft makers, bakers, food, authors, civic groups, and more.
Afternoon Cruise: 12-2pm, Belle of Louisville Riverboats. Take it slow under the Southern sun with a delightful cruise along the Ohio River in Louisville. Your whole crew will enjoy the experience. Trilobite Scavenger Hunt: 3-4pm. Falls of the Ohio State Park. A scavenger hunt! Participants will look for different color 3-D printed trilobites hiding in the outdoor classroom. Find one of each color and get a movable trilobite model. Naturalist at Heart volunteer Bob Thesier will talk about these extinction marine critters and how they lived. Your $2 program fee is covered by a grant from the Falls of the Ohio Foundation. Meets in the outdoor classroom, located across the parking lot from the interpretive center. Free event.
